Ok, random topic. For the past 3 going to 4 years, I have been in the same class as him. Only over the past 1 year and it is going to be 2 soon did I realise this.
Geraldo is pure ownage.His academic is quite good overall, close 1 eye for a few like higher chinese but it is very good already that he can do higher chinese and survive it ever since primary school. Temasek sec's higher chinese is freaking hell. Like my last year liu lao shi class, the tingxie(chinese "spelling") is start from 100 marks then for every wrong word - 5 marks.
Geraldo can do tingxie until negative marks, -80+ marks also can get and that is already get quite a decent number of words correct. The hardcore part is doing the corrections. You are supposed to write each long phrase(some with up to 8 words each) which you have even a single wrong word 5 times for up to 30 phrases, depending on how many you got wrong. After that, if you failed the test, you are to ask somebody to give you a retest. Then do the corrections for the retest like the pervious.
Find the average marks for the total number of spellings you have taken, if it is still a fail then retest again. Rinse and repeat until a passing mark is achieved. The best way out would be to just give yourself full marks for the retest. So if you get -200 marks, you gotta retest yourself 5 times to get a passing average. (5 x 100 - 200) /6 = 50 marks.
Other than chinese, geraldo is also very hardcore. Take Amaths for example. Now he is gonna go for thrice a week maths tuition 1.5 hrs each, all on just Amaths. Everyday if he does get himself to study through own free will without a test coming up he would only do maths.
Geraldo is also quite good in sports and sprinting. His sprinting style is dam pro sia, the arms swing like robot. Last year nafta he run until roll and do somersault on the ground o.O. He is seriously quite good in sprinting and is ok in playing sports like soccer etc.
Lastly, he has an ownage unmistakable kinda face. There was even a challenge last time to see who could stare at his face the longest without laughing. My best timing was..20-30 seconds? His kinda attitude also quite funny, a nice laugh every now and then.
One day, Geraldo will probably be driving a ferrari, having a lot of stocks in the market and is a multi-millionaire already. He is really very good, quite the signs of a generalist and a specialist in maths.
Anyway, back to proper. Nothing much going on nowadays other than exams coming in a month's time and o level chinese 2 weeks after that. I am getting scared though, the other people in the class are doing better than me in english, something which i barely passed last year and always got a single digit mark for comprehension tests, even scored 2 marks before. Hell, seriously scared for olevels. Like sure die die, suddenly this year don't feel the confidence I had last year.
Screwed up then? Maybe.
Let's live for as long as I can before its too late then.
Anyway, that's it for now i guess. I am very sick of australia globalisation already and I gotta claim back my sacrificed hours of sleep. Until the next time I feel like posting then.
